A Hammer-wielding Monk sounds kinda cool, to tell ya the truth.

My guildmate runs a Mo/W hammer build with knockdown and Balth's Aura. It's pretty godly, I've seen it.

So, the guy dies...and you chose to grief him using a spell...congrats. This suppossed to make you smarter than him? I think just the opposite...

A hammer-wielding monk could work, I suppose... I'd personally just be a war/mo with a hammer, but whatever floats your boat.

I've got a W/Mo, not to be yet another one of the mold but because I like to mindlessly slaughter things without worry of dying due to weaker armor.
I can't do that with my E/Mo, and my Mo/Me gets really beaten up by stuff just due to the whole lack of skills and armor for the time being.

I look forward to the next time I use Vengeance in a mission because of the full health/energy boost and lower casting time, and get called "griefer" for it.

When did rezzing a person become a grief? At least with Vengeance, you don't get a death penalty when you do, inevitably, die. IIRC, that is.

I have yet to use Vengeance, mainly because it only rezzes someone for thirty seconds then they die again. It's useful I suppose, and I may have to use it at some point.
I'm waiting for that one skill that lets you raise all nearby party members, that would be very handy when I'm about to get my arse handed to me in a mission, that would be VERY handy to keep us from failing a mission sometimes...

Light of Dwayna. It sounds useful, the only thing is that if my whole party is dead and I've still got the 25 energy this spell costs, something is wrong...

So true, so true... If you're the only one standing, you know to run... Because whatever got your friends is probably big, mean and eats Warriors for breakfast. >^o^<

Maybe you should reread the main post and the context that was implied regarding his use of Vengence. It can and has been used as a griefer tool, veng, let die, venge, let die, venge let die over and over. I'm sure by the third time the guy woulda left.

Maybe he just used it in 3 different battles... Nowhere in his post does he imply he did it to grief.
Sheesh. Everyone needs a villain.

Use Vengeance then cast Mark of Protection on them. When they "die" from the vengeance running out the Mark of Protection kicks in and keeps them alive. This was a pretty popular combo until people started packing enchantment removal. Still, you could probably use it pretty effectively against PUGs and in the arenas. Wouldn't work well against a good team though. They'll notice right away that the person has an enchantment on them when they come back at full life and immediately call for a rend.

Wow, is that true? Sounds a little exploit-y, but who cares, I'm giving it a shot.

Thanks for the heads up Sarus, I'd use it for PvE, not PvP, I haven't done PvP seriously yet, since our guild doesn't have enough members at level 20 to do serious PvP or GvG yet. So thanks for the tip that sounds great.

If you're going to try, use Divine Intervention. It also prevents deaths from Vengeance and it's not elite.
